Below is a link to a Picasa Web Album that contains photos of the custom fabricated 4-1 headers for the race-preparred Ford Escort my father is putting together.
The dimensions for the headers came from Edgell Automotive who are doing the build up of the Lotus 1600 engine. All the primaries are an equal length and have been routed to clear the custom engine mounts and engine bay (since the engine is going to sit slightly more diagonally within the engine bay than standard). They are made out of mild steel mandrel bends and will be ceramic coated once they are complete. In particular, look at the pyramid in the intricate collector and the nice clean flow lines that should lead to some good scavenging and hopefully performance.
